FOCUS OF OUR ACTIVITIES

• Day Care Center:

Child home provides vocational training programme at Sangam Complex, 4 Sameypur, Libaspur Road, Delhi for poor , destitute and street children through it’s day care center. We were given training to 150 persons and given computer training to 70 persons through the year.

• Rehabilitation of Street Children:

We are providing shelter , food, education for street children. We have given such facilities for 20 children during the year 2004. We are also providing them vocational training such as , computer literacy, stitching embroidery works etc for these children.

• Women & Child Health Care Camps:

The Child Home organization conducted two day woman & Child Health care camp at Alipur, Delhi with the co-operation of medical team from Santom Hospital and registered Practitioner had been engaged and delivered lecturer to the participants on the theme women and child health care. Programme was conducted 15 th April 2004.

• Aids Awareness Programme:

The organization conducted one day HIV awareness programme at Sameypur with the Co-operation of AIDS Control Society. 20 members of Adolesent men and women participated in the HIV (Aids) awareness programme.

• Blood Donation Camp:

The organization conducted one day blood donation camp at Sameypur. 50 number of people donated blood in this camp.

• Adult Literacy Programme:

The organization had conducted special literacy programme at the 4, Sameypur Sangam Complex, the adult Literacy programme were jointly conducted with the guidance of State Council for Education Reserch and Training. 50 Adults were participated in the training programme.

During the year 2004 Child Home restored 19 children at different states such as Delhi, West Bengal, (Kolkata, Siliguri) U.P. (Allahabad, Muradabad, Himachal pradesh , Rajesthan, Bihar and other states.
